
Where You Are the Destination
Adrift in a sea of sameness, Amstar approached us to help them revitalize their brand. Not content to simply rise above the chaos of other airport transfer and excursion transportation advertising, Amstar also wanted to forge emotional connections with their consumers. Afterall, getting people to and from their final destination is an emotional journey where superior service and genuine care turn customers into loyalists.
Amstar’s existing brand had become operational and transactional, leaving no room for the personable service to shine through its positioning. And the brand would benefit from a modern update that could propel it into the future while still respecting its heritage.
Using MMGY’s extensive branding process, we met with stakeholders to better understand the business and obtain insights to inspire our creative process. Employees, travelers, suppliers, travel advisors and more weighed in on what Amstar means to them, painting a holistic picture of the brand from firsthand experiences.
Once aligned on brand architecture, we began to explore how the new positioning could translate into a logo and visual concepts that would deliver on everything Amstar is: bold, connected, insightful, caring and fun. Collaborating closely with the client and stakeholders, our final design delighted.
For Amstar, the destination is you – the customer. So our branding and logo design centered around the people Amstar transports. The brand mark brought together the concepts of connection, destinations and the letter “A” – because everything Amstar does “revolves around you.”
The Amstar brand comes to life for consumers in destinations across nine countries, showing up along every step of their trip, from employee uniforms and signage to vehicle wraps and team interactions. Now the brand authentically connects, endlessly adopts and seamlessly impacts.
